Kidsitting is provided by older Girl Scout Troops during our monthly Service Unit Meetings. This service is available for children 3 years old and up. While Kidsitting is FREE, registration in advance is required so we can be sure to have the correct number of sitters available. If you are not sure you will need kidsitting, sign up just to be sure so we can have the correct number of volunteers!

Contact Missy Richardson to reserve your place(s). Please send your request by 6 p.m. the night before the SU Meeting or as soon as you know the children are coming.

The Girl Scout Troop providing kidsitting must plan their Kidsitting activity time, and bring the supplies necessary to support their planned activities. Kidsitting time can be used to support troop badgework and/or community service hours. (The troop is responsible for any costs associated with their planned Kidsitting activities.)

Three or more girls and one adult from the Girl Scout Troop should be present from 6:45 PM to 8:15 PM. The girls should be ready to greet children at 6:45 p.m. at the Barker Road Middle School cafeteria/corridor.

Service Unit Meetings usually occur on the third or fourth Monday of these months: September, October, November, January, February, March, April, and May. To reserve your Kidsitting volunteer time, Missy Richardson at pittsfordgirlscouts@gmail.com.
