Council Information Sheets

The Council Information Sheet (or CIS) is a newsletter sent out via email for the Western New York Council. It contains monthly updates from the Girl Scouts of Western New York to help keep us up-to-date on council happenings.

You may subscribe to the letter on the GSWNY website by clicking on their newsletter link. Or you may click here for a direct link to the enrollment form.

Troop Websites

Would you like a website for your troop? There are a number of options. Some troops use Facebook pages or Shutterfly sites. Others use "wiki" websites. Still others are hosting their own standalone sites through personal servers. There are also a more and more app communication options that are becoming available every day.

Whatever you decide is the best option for your troop, we ask that you maintain a high level of privacy for your girl scouts. Do not post pictures that are not behind password protected login pages. Do not post any personal information or contact details other than emails for the troop leaders. We want to ensure the safety and privacy of all of our girl scouts, so please help us to do that by maintaining these internet standards.

If you do have a website, please include a link to our site, http://www.pittsfordgirlscouts.org to connect our troops together. If you need help with setting up a new website, you can click here for wiki instructions or you can email our webmaster for some one-on-one help.
